Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you all have had a great week. I enjoyed the first part of the week and took advantage of the great weather and enjoyed a little time in the pool. It’s been raining the past couple of days but I am not really complaining too much. My plants and grass desperately need the water. No matter how much I try, I just can’t give my beautiful flowers the water they need with the temps over 90 degrees every day!
I am headed to visit my family as we speak to do an early father’s day dinner with my dad. It’s hard to celebrate with all the dads in our lives in just one day…so we have to break it up a bit. My dad requested a steak dinner so that’s what we are going to do. I am more than ready for that big steak. I was so busy getting ready to leave, I missed lunch so I am about to chow down.
I have the boys in the back asking the typical…”are we there yet” every 5 minutes. I can tell you that while I miss Atlanta, I certainly don’t miss the traffic. But, it’s nice to be back in the area. I lived there for 30+ years and miss it on occasion…but I think we’ll stay in TN. We are all super happy in Chattanooga.
