Happy Friday everyone…I hope it’s been a great week!
This is my birthday weekend. Yes, a birthday lasts more than just a day at my house. If it were up to me, we’d celebrate all month long–tee tee!
Since my birthday is on a Monday, we are going to celebrate over the weekend. Things just get too busy on the weekdays so this is a better option. AND…I can drag the fun out a bit longer! It worked out that BOTH boys are going to a spend-the-night birthday party on Saturday so my husband and I will get a rare date night. We are taking the opportunity to try a restaurant that we have never been to…one that is a little fancy and not a place that I’d take my boys. Don’t get me wrong, they are extremely well behaved and would do fine there. But, they will not care anything about the fancy menu or appreciate the food. So I’d end up paying way too much money for food they don’t really want anyway!
We don’t go to nice restaurants too often as I am a bit too frugal to justify the cost. But, I think I’ll make an exception this time 🙂
